Yankees Make It

After what seemed to be a few weeks of uncertain play, the Yankees finally make it to the post season.

Don’t discount Tampa Bay either, because they are in the hunt and have a damn good team. If anything, they’ve been a pebble in the Yankees’ shoes.

Mets Done

Now that their season is over, the Mets will be making changes drastically. From the GM, manager on down. A disappointing season for a team with one of the best new stadiums in baseball.

Until then, see ya at the park!

NY Baseball in September

The Yankees making it, but Tampa Bay
breathing down their back. The Mets are done and so is the
manager, GM, coaching staff.

Mets Need Help

This season was the Mets until they took a steep nose dive with injuries, no team chemistry and players under performing. They need help and they need it fast.

The Yankees mean while are neck-and-neck with the Red Sox for first place in the AL East. This scribe is surprised but way to go.

Been on hiatus as I vacation and write my book, which takes time, time and more time. The book is slowly, and I stress, slowly coming along.

Until then, see ya at the park!

Mets Hurting Financially

Interesting story in the New York Daily News about the Mets injuries and the salaries that go along with it. Here’s a quick look:

Carlos Beltran $18.5M

Carlos Delgado $12M

John Maine $2.6M

Angel Pagan $575G

Oliver Perez $12M

J.J. Putz $5.5M

Jose Reyes $5.75M

Billy Wagner $10.5M

Total $67.425M

Interesting! Mets need help fast!

Until then, see ya at the park!
